Field trials are an important part of Sun Grant activities in order to solve national challenges at the regional and local level with support for science from our federal partners. These include the U.S. Departments of Agriculture, Transportation, and Energy, including the Regional Feedstock Partnership program. Current Sun Grant plot locations for research trials are presented below, with over 130 projects on the ground in 90% of the states. Additional plots are being planned, implemented, and monitored for a variety of feedstocks through our feedstock teams. Please check back often to view updated maps as new plots are added.
